Why your store region matters
The build delivered by a storefront may follow the country registered to that account. Changing Windows language, using a VPN, or changing only the in-game language does not reliably change the licensed build.
The developer previously said it was working on a region-unlocking solution. Until a later official update confirms that work is complete, do not assume unrestricted switching.
Wrong region or high ping
- Record the storefront, account country, displayed server, and measured latency.
- Do not repurchase immediately. Check the official FAQ and Discord region guidance first.
- If the store delivered a region-specific build, contact the platform/store support channel before changing account country.
- When reporting the issue, include whether party members are on the same platform build and server region.
Cross-region parties
Cross-platform matchmaking is confirmed. Cross-region party behavior is less clear and may still depend on server pool and regional build. Treat successful player workarounds as community evidence until the developer publishes a complete rule set.
